I included this in the dessert chapter, but it could easily find a home with the brunch or appetizer recipes. It’s a sweet way to end a meal. Pair it with a cocktail or serve alongside waffles and eggs for breakfast.

Method

Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a rimmed sheet pan with a Silpat or aluminum foil.

Lay the bacon strips on the prepared sheet pan. Brush each slice of bacon with bourbon and sprinkle with brown sugar on both sides.
