  1. cup Asian fish sauce
  2. cup rice vinegar
  3. Finely grated zest and juice from large limes
  4. 2 teaspoons seeded and finely minced hot red chiles
  5. 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  6. 5 tablespoons sugar, or to taste


Combine all the ingredients and stir or shake to dissolve the sugar. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
