  • 150 g ( oz/1 cup) chopped dark chocolate
  • 300 ml (10½ fl oz) cream
  • 2 tablespoons caster (superfine) sugar


    1. Put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Put the cream in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat, then add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, leave for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Serve warm.
