Method

These are a type of Aceto-dolce which is comprised of various ingredients such as grapes, plums, apricots, small onions and gherkins pickled in vinegar and flavoured with sugar, cinnamon and Cayenne. This Hors-d’oeuvre is served accompanied by small cinnamon biscuits and it is usual to leave these on the table during the service.
