Take equal quantities of carrots, turnips, cucumber, gherkins, potatoes, hard-boiled eggs and herring fillets—all cut into dice.
Arrange in bouquets with a quarter of hard- boiled egg filled with jellied Mayonnaise between each bouquet.
Dressing: oil and vinegar with chopped parsley and tarragon.
