Lima Beans


Cook the beans in water with the usual vegetables and a Bouquet garni plus a 500 g (1 lb 2 oz) piece of streaky bacon per 1 litre ( pt or U.S. cups) of dried beans.

When cooked, drain them well and mix together with the bacon cut in dice and sufficient good Tomato Sauce.
