Beat 1 egg with 1 glass cream, sprinkle on approximately 1 glass flour, 1 spoon sugar, salt, and 1 egg yolk, and mix thoroughly for 15 minutes. With butter or beeswax, grease a wafer iron for little horns. Cover the surface evenly with a little batter and bake like little horns.
Mix together about 2 spoons fine sugar, cinnamon, finely pounded sweet almonds, and 5–6 bitter almonds. When the wafers are cooked, spread each with butter, sprinkle with the prepared almonds, arrange in pairs, and place in a buttered wafer iron, cover, and hold over the fire for 2 minutes.
These wafers are served with tea and coffee.
