Make a liquid batter by mixing 1 glass dry flour, 2 spoons sugar, and a little cinnamon with 1 glass milk or a little more. Stir in 4 egg yolks and 4 beaten egg whites. Using a small funnel, swirl the dough into boiling fat in threads in various directions to form a net of straws. Brown on both sides and turn into a sieve* lined with blotting paper. Serve hot and sprinkle on sugar or juice.
