Ingredients

  • 3 glasses cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • lb, or 1 full glass, sugar
  • lb, or ½ glass, roasted coffee
  • 3 lbs, or 6 glasses, salt

Method

Beat egg yolks and sugar until white, dilute with cream, and stir on top of the stove until the mixture thickens. Sprinkle on lb of the very best, freshly roasted coffee. Remove the cream from the fire, cover, and let it cool. Strain into a mold, etc.
