Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon orange, mignonette, or jasmine flowers
  • 3 glasses cream
  • 3–4 egg yolks
  • lb sugar
  • about 3 lbs salt

Method

Pour 1 tablespoon orange, mignonette [Reseda odorata], or jasmine flowers into hot cream. Cover and strain after an hour. Mix with egg yolks beaten until white and place on top of the stove, etc.
