Ingredients

  • 6–8 apples
  • cinnamon
  • ½ lemon
  • ½–1 glass sugar pieces
  • 1 glass potato flour
  • sugar and cream to serve separately

Method

Finely cut up 6–8 large Antonov apples, boil in water with a piece of cinnamon, and strain through a sieve. Mix 5 glasses of this juice with ¼ lb sugar pieces scraped over lemon zest. Add the juice from ½ lemon, bring to a boil, and pour in the flour diluted with 1 glass water, etc.
