Method

Mix until smooth ¼ garnets warm milk, ½ garnets very dry flour, and 3 spoons very thick yeast. Set in a warm place to rise and then beat in 5 eggs and 10 egg yolks, beaten with a full teaspoon salt. Add 1 glass sugar, ¾ lb clarified butter, and enough flour to make a rather thick dough. Knead and let the dough rise. Form into buns, paint with egg after they have risen on the baking sheet, and set in a hot oven. (Use nearly 6 lbs flour, or 1¼ garnets.)
