Method

Place small, crushed lingonberries in a glazed earthenware jug, fill it to the very top, cover with spills, seal with dough, and set in the oven to stew after baking bread. Remove the jug from the oven the next morning, turn the contents into a sieve, and drain off the juice, which may be used for kissel. Rub the
