  • handful of thyme, thoroughly washed and the leaves stripped from the twigs
  • 200 g (approx. 7 oz/2 sticks) butter at room temperature
  • 1 tbsp salt flakes
  • freshly ground pepper


Place all ingredients in a bowl and thoroughly stir. Roll into a sheet of plastic wrap and shape into a sausage. Place in the refrigerator for approx. 3 hours to firm. Cut the butter roll into slices and if necessary wrap individually to take out. Store in the refrigerator.
