Lavender & Mint Tea

Lavender: yes, you can make tea from it. Combined with mint it is delicious. Here’s the recipe for fresh and dried lavender.

  • 2–3 tbsp (approx. ¼ cup) fresh
  • lavender leaves or 1–2 tbsp dried ones
  • 15 g (½ oz) mint leaves (small sprig)

Bring water to a boil. Pour over the spices in a pot and allow to brew for 10 minutes. Strain into a cup, flavour with honey or sugar, as needed. You can also strain into a pot, flavour it with honey or sugar, and leave to fully cool. Serve in tall glasses over ice cubes and with fresh mint leaves for show.
