Vin de Camomille

Camomile wine


  • 1 bottle white wine (750 ml/25 fl oz)
  • 100 g (4 oz) camomile, dried (from the tea store)
  • 200 g (approx. 7 oz/1 cup) sugar
  • 100 ml (approx 3 fl oz/½ cup) rum
  • 1 vanilla bean


Combine all ingredients and leave to stand in a clean preserving jar in a dark place for 14 days. Shake occasionally. Strain through coffee filter and serve on ice cubes and garnish with a slice of lemon.
