Dark Chocolate Cherry

This was the first pocketbread I made that had people coming back for more. I had two wonderful customers, a husband and wife, who would pick up a dozen of these little treats before going on long flights (she was a flight attendant). They’d actually get upset with me when I didn’t make them. Well, this one’s for you two.

Aside from the addition of dark chocolate and cherries in this recipe (and the shaping, of course), everything is very similar to the free-form hearth sourdough lo
