Method

Day One

Green or red lentils (see Basic Lentils) with Roasted Garlic Bread (see Four No-Knead Bread Variations). Try adding some of the fun add-ins to the lentils you plan to eat that night.

Plan Ahead: Make two pounds of lentils so you have plenty for other recipes. Meal Time: 1 hour 30 minutes plus overnight rise for bread

Day Two

Ten-Minute Lentil Wraps.

Meal Time: 10 minutes, no joke

Day Three

Grilled or roasted chicken and Sun-Dried Tomato Panzanella Salad.

Any grilled chicken recipe goes very well with this salad.

Meal Time: 45 minutes

Day Four

Chorizo Bread Soup.

Meal Time: 45 minutes

Day Five

Seared Salmon with Caper Lentils with side salad.

Meal Time: 30 minutes
