Make up a batch of this marinade and store it in a jar in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks. Use it to flavor fish, chicken, pork or beef before frying or broiling. These measurements will give you 4 adult portions, but you can increase the quantities as much as you like. Mix together: 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons white miso paste, 2 teaspoons rice vinegar or lime juice, 2 tablespoons light soy sauce and -inch piece gingerroot, peeled and finely grated.
