Ingredients

  • 12 cups chopped Swiss chard (about 3 large bunches)
  • ½ cup olive oil

Method

Rinse the chard well and drain but do not dry; the water clinging to the leaves will help wilt the chard during cooking.

Heat the oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until translucent, about 7 minutes. Add the garlic and spices and cook 2 minutes more. Then stir in the chard and cook, partially covered and stirring occasionally, until tender and wilted, ab
