  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • cup

Method

  1. Preheat oven to hot (400°F.).

  2. Add the nutmeg and salt to the butter. Mix well. Gradually blend in the sugar and beat in the egg.

  3. Sift the flour with baking powder and add it to the nutmeg mixture along with the milk. Mix well.</
