I’ve long been fascinated by the cocoalike flavors in my morning cup of coffee and chicory. It occurred to me that it would be interesting to make chocolate mousse flavored with a jolt of intense New Orleans–style coffee, and indeed it was. Chocolate mousse is best right after being made because the frothy texture disappears after it’s refrigerated.
