Indonesian Peanut Sauce

Ingredients

8 oz 250 g Peanut butter
8 fl oz 250 mL Hot water
4–6 4–6 Garlic cloves, crushed to a paste
2–3 2–3 Serrano chiles, seeded, chopped fine
1 tbsp 15 mL Fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped fine
1 tbsp 15 mL Brown sugar
1 tbsp 15 mL Lime juice
1 fl oz 30 mL Soy sauce

Method

Procedure

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Process until the mixture forms a smooth sauce.
  2. Refrigerate.
