Maple Poaching Syrup


  • 1 quart (960 ml) water
  • 8 ounces (225 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (240 ml) maple syrup


  1. Place the water, sugar and maple syrup in a saucepan. Bring the syrup to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Use as directed in the apple filling recipe.
