Piri-Piri Sauce

Living in Lambeth with its large Portuguese community, piri-piri sauce has become my condiment of choice. The piri-piri pepper or African bird’s eye pepper has been associated with the Portuguese since around the 14th century, but it was their former colonies of Mozambique and Angola that created the marinade the whole world has fallen in love with.
