Method
- Boil lots of salty water as you would to make pasta.
- Wash the rice in a sieve, running water through it.
- Throw the rice into boiling water and cook for five to six minutes – it should be just softer than al dente. Don’t let it cook to soggy.
- Pour all the water out through the sieve.
- Return rice to the pot.
