Ingredients

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Method

To make the Gravy

Pour our all but 2 tablespoons of the oil from the skillet. Add the flour and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, for about 1 minute. Whisk in the milk and continue to cook, whisking often to prevent lumps, until smooth and thick, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
