Oven Thermometers

I use a laboratory cable thermometer from Omega (model number HH22). It is expensive, but it is far more accurate than most oven thermometers I have tested. It is designed for home use and can be used for two ovens at the same time. It is important for an oven thermometer to be read without your having to open the oven door because the temperature starts to drop immediately once the door is opened. For an oven with a window, the CDN model DOT2 and the Thermopen Chef-Alarm with oven clip and probe are also reliable.
