There are two main types of wok spoons: a flat, fish-slice type of implement used for lifting seafood out of woks or steamers; and a shovel-like spoon that allows you to stir the ingredients and keep them moving so that they don’t burn in the fierce heat of the wok. I suggest you make the small investment of buying both — they are as cheap as chips and make stir-frying so simple.
