Package uncooked ham in the piece rather than sliced. Pack in freezer paper, foil or polythene, and overwrap. Vacuum-packed joints may be frozen in packing. Storage life is limited as salt causes rancidity. High Quality Storage Life: 3 months (whole); 1 month (sliced).
