For a wisteria cluster knot, holding a light-colored ribbon in your left hand and a dark-colored ribbon in your right hand, entwine them as shown. When finished, the upper right (light strand) and upper left dark strand) point up.

Bring the dark strand across the top and under the light one.

Entwine as shown. Both light-colored strands end up on the left-hand side. Pull the knot snug; tie the loose ends together behind your napkin or sheath.

Turn the knot around so that the dark strands are on the left and the light strands are on the right. Bring both dark strands around to form a loop (your napkin or sheath goes through this space) and through the dark colored loop behind the loose strands. Knot the ends of all four strands.
