For a crane fold, fold and crease where the dotted lines are. Open up.

Bring corners 1 and 2, and 3 and 4, together. Fold in the sides.

Bring corner 3 to meet corners 1 and 2. Crease. Fold the outside edge of this flap back to meet the center line. Fold this flap over to the right.

Repeat the procedure with corner 1 to make this shape.

Take the small right-hand flap and fold it over to the left. Open the flap left again. Take the left outside corner of this flap and bring it down to the bottom center point. Crease.
