Because canning can be a time-sensitive process, it is important to have your ingredients prepped and any necessary kitchen tools at the ready before you begin. Along with the specialized equipment detailed, the following basic kitchen tools and supplies are helpful to have on hand:

Citrus juicer or reamer

Clean kitchen towels
