Ortolans en brochettes
Small birds, which dine on berries throughout their brief lives, roasted whole on skewers with head on and without cleaning except for the feathers. The birds are fat as butter. Even the bones, except for the tiny leg bones, are chewed and swallowed. There is one bird to one bite.
