Buckwheat Noodles

These Japanese noodles are thin and a brownish grey colour. Known as soba and extremely popular among the Japanese, they are often eaten as snacks, served cold in the summer and hot in the winter. They come fresh and dried, and can be found where Japanese food products are sold.
