  • Fasting means drinking lots of juice, water or other fluids. You may also eat fruit if you wish.
  • Do not fast for more than 36 hours.
  • You should rest while fasting and eat lightly when you first break the fast.
  • If fasting is out of the question for you, keep to your normal diet and try drinking a glass of warm, slightly salted water first thing in the morning.
