Cut these before autumn frost, and leave 1½-2in/3.75-5cm stalks. If possible, hang in nets. Ask a greengrocer for these, as many vegetables are delivered to him in nets which can easily be reshaped for home use. Small specimens may be put on shelves, but should be turned occasionally to prevent bruising or the growth of mould.
