Anthony Blake

Food photographer

Anthony Blake, who died in 2018, was a well-known food photographer. His 1978 book Great Chefs of France, a collaboration with food writer Quentin Crewe, captured all of France's rural three Michelin star chefs at the time, at work in their kitchens. He photographed many books for chefs including Gary Rhodes and Nico Ladenis, and won a Glenfiddich Award in 1990 for his work on Pierre Koffmann's Memories of Gascony.
