Daiti Ieda began his culinary career in 2002, after changing professions. He spent six years completing an apprenticeship in Tokyo where his natural talent and tireless dedication earned the respect of his team and superiors. He eventually returned to Brazil in search of new challenges, and in 2014 was invited by a renowned chef to co- ordinate a new project.
Today, Ieda is the Executive Chef of Gurume, a restaurant chain in Rio de Janeiro. He is responsible for co-ordinating the entire operation including menus and management.
