Ezequiel Álvarez’s passion for cooking began when he was very young. When he came home from school, his grandfather always welcomed him with casseroles for dinner. By 12 years old, it was clear that he wanted to become a great chef. He enrolled in the Girona School of Hospitality and Tourism and his restless desire to keep learning led him to work and train in some of the most outstanding restaurants in Spain: Don Giovanni with Andrea Tumbarello, Disfrutar with Albert Adriá, Casa Marcial with Nacho Manzano, Paco Torreblanca and El Celler de Can Roca with the Roca brothers.
Alvarez has won over 13 competitions including the Promises of Haute Cuisine Award, organized by Le Cordon Bleu Madrid, where he won the chance to study the institute’s Cuisine Diploma.
