Jiayun Zhang (Heather) went to New Zealand to study her master’s degree but soon realised that food was where her passion lay, so she transferred to Le Cordon Bleu to embark on a career change. After working as chef de partie at a fine dining restaurant, she was given the opportunity to work at a three-hat restaurant as pastry chef, as well as a two-hat restaurant as chef de partie for the pastry section, where she still works today.
