Karen Tenenbaum

Karen is an attorney representing many restaurateurs before the IRS and New York State Department of Taxation and Finance on matters such as individual and business tax audits, including NYS sales tax audits and NYS and NYC residency audits, NYS non-filers, installment agreements, offers in compromise, levies, liens, seizures and penalty abatement requests. Karen has been involved in the food and hospitality industry both personally and professionally and has seen the difficulties industry professionals face to promote themselves and find personal and financial success. As a female business owner in a profession that is male dominated at the management level, she sees LDNY membership as a way to continue to serve and help women in the food industry to be more successful.
