Despite Martyne’s family being a mix of Ashkenazi and Sephardi, her mother cooked very English food. It wasn’t until Martyne left home that she discovered how spices and herbs could transform food into something that delights and surprises. A love affair had begun. Fortunately for Martyne, others liked her food, too, and she was able to change a hobby into a successful catering business.
