Shin Kim

Shin Kim, a native of Seoul, South Korea, is the owner of Banchan Story LLC in New York. She has produced Korean culinary events featuring hands-on cooking workshops and led cooking demos and workshops for various groups and organizations, including the writers of the Apple TV show Pachinko, KCON New York, Natural Gourmet Institute and the Korea Society. She has also expanded into catering services to high-end retail and fashion clients such as Herman Miller, Dolce & Gabbana, Watches of Switzerland and Mamonde U.S. Her latest cookbook, Korean Vegetarian Cooking: Authentic Flavors in Simple Steps, was published in November 2020. In 2021, continuing her plant-based adventure, Shin launched For Us Cookies focusing on scrumptious vegan, gluten-free cookies made with sustainably sourced ingredients that are packaged in eco-friendly materials.
