Chef Tolga Özkaya was born in Bolu in 1980. After graduating from Culinary High School in 1998, he worked in various Mediterranean hotels. He started his professional life by working at the Gloria Golf and Magic Life Hotel. Özkaya, who received chocolate and candy training both in Turkey and abroad, started to work as pastry chef and Sous Chef at The Marmara Taksim Hotel in 2006. He participated in many international culinary competitions.
In 2013, Tolga Özkaya graduated from Le Cordon Bleu with a Diplôme de Cuisine and is currently Executive Chef at The Marmara Taksim Hotel as of 2014.
