Zhu Hui, known also as Chris, graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Shanghai in 2016. He comes from a family of doctors and it seemed to be destined that he would follow the family tradition. After graduating from medical school, he joined his parents and became a surgeon. After 7 years of practice, Zhu left the ER to pursue his real passion which lay in the kitchen.
After working at several commercial kitchens, he eventually worked his way up to Head Chef at two stylish French bistros in Shanghai: Bird and Bitter. His signature dishes feature classic French techniques combined with local Chinese flavours.
