Alain Passard started his career at Le Duc d’Enghien, in the Casino of Enghien where he became the youngest two star Michelin chef. Shorlty after this Alain was awarded two Michelin stars at Restaurant Carlton in Brussels. In 1986 Alain opened his own restaurant, Arpège, again receiving another two stars and scoring 19 out of 20 in the Gault Millau guide. By 1996 Alain had achieved three Michelin stars that are still retained today. Alain also has three kitchen gardens and he published his first cookery book in 2010, ‘The Art of Cooking with Vegetables’. In June 2015 Arpège was ranked 12th on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
