Omar Allibhoy

Talented Spanish chef Omar Allibhoy is creating a buzz in the UK food scene with his passion for Spanish food and tapas. Alongside numerous television appearances, and his Tapas Revolution restaurants, he has published two cookbooks, Tapas Revolution the best-selling Spanish cookbook of 2013 and the acclaimed Spanish Made Simple in 2016. Born in Madrid, Omar trained with Ferran Adria from the acclaimed restaurant ElBulli before moving to London and working with Gordon Ramsay and Jason Atherton. He later became Head Chef at El Pirata detapas in Notting Hill, where he was featured on Channel 4’s Ramsay’s Best Restaurant. As a result Omar’s reputation as the ‘Antonio Banderas of cooking’ was born. He has since opened seven Tapas Revolution restaurants across the UK. He frequently appears on Saturday Kitchen, Sunday Brunch, This Morning, cooks Spanish recipes for Jamie Oliver’s FoodTube and is at the forefront of Spanish food in the UK.
