This recipe has been around forever with a million different spins on it. Nevertheless, here is my take, because I love these peanut butter and chocolate squares. I use both graham cracker crumbs and corn flakes in the filling, for extra crunch and a salty balance to the confectioners’ sugar. These are dangerous—but delicious.

1) For the Bars

Grease an 8 in [20 cm] square baking pan and line with a parchment sling.

2) In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle, beat the butter until creamy, about 1 minute. Add the brown sugar and salt and beat to combine, then add the peanut butter and vanilla and beat until combined and creamy, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the corn flakes
