It’s widely known that salmon is a good source of protein and healthy fats, but did you know that it matters how that fish was raised? Though there are reputable, sustainable, and responsibly farmed fisheries around the world, the labeling for these products is often unclear. If your pocketbook can afford it, wild-caught Pacific salmon is the better way to go. Learn your species—if it’s Atlantic salmon, it’s been farmed.
